External Refurbishment & Maintenance

This was a project to carry out the refurbishment of the Hyde Park Gardens façade complete with re-roofing and upgrading the water storage facility.

The works were carried out on a busy road with severe restrictions placed on all deliveries. The use of skips was impractical with all debris being taken from site using one of our own vans. We are licenced waste carriers, so this only presented minor operational issues. The roof works carried out in mid-winter required detailed scheduling of the phases and resulted in no leaks.

The external repairs to the façade were all done using modern techniques and materials which did not deplete in the cold, wet weather. The tanks replacement presented a particular challenge in the cold weather and also liaising with the occupants. However, with the goodwill of the occupants and good communication the transfer was done with the minimum of inconvenience to the occupants. On completion, the transformation was very pleasing.
